What information do I need to add a custom ingredient to the database?
All you need to do is enter the ingredient list and the nutritional value tables. You may (but don't have to) specify additional properties that will improve the analysis of the ingredient, such as sugar types, fat types, protein types, protein denaturation, animal or plant origin, whether water content requires stabilization, alcohol content, dosing, etc. If you think that a certain ingredient should be added to our database or if you're having trouble determining its composition, contact us.
